Concepts in Weight Management focuses on health and well-being. You want weight loss to result in better health---lower blood pressure and cholesterol, increased energy and feeling good about YOU---as well as a decrease in weight. Studies show that long term weight control must consist of a diet that is comfortable and flexible enough to follow FOREVER. So beware of diets that totally eliminate certain foods or have you depending on packaged meals, snack bars or supplements. We need carbohydrates, proteins, and fats to stay healthy.  Call me and I can help you get focused in the right direction.

It's easy to get distracted from what your goal is; it helps to write it down and put it where you will see it often. Remind yourself WHY you want this goal. Studies show that people who are accountable to someone else for their weight loss are more successful.  I can give you that accountability and support. You may feel more motivated now than you have in months--take that feeling and run! Making changes are easier when you're motivated and have the energy to take those steps.
